Sizing

How do I choose my swimwear size?

Method 1: Refer to our measurements guide:

Here at Beachme, our swimwear measurements are unique to each piece, varying according to its style and fabric. Our sizing may differ from each piece, so don’t forget to refer to our Size guide on individual product pages for measurements specific to each item before deciding on a size.

*Measurements are taken laid flat in inches.

1. PTP
Measure across the fullest part of your bust.

a. Monokinis without underwires/foam padding
b. Monikini with underwires/foam padding

2. Waist
Measure across the narrowest part of your waistline.

3. Hip
Measure across the fullest part of your hips.

Low waist bottom

2. Hips
Measure across the top opening of the bottom

High waist bottom

Method of measurements follow “Monokini” points 2 and 3 for waist and hips measurements respectively.

As all our measurements are taken laid flat, side-to side (as-is, unstretched) the stretchability of the fabric has to be taken into consideration.

For our self manufactured range, we have included the approximate stretchability of the vital stats for your reference.

Please refer to the below for an example:

Measurements of bottom (before stretching):

    XS S M
  Waist 11″ 12″ 13″
  Hips 13″ 14″ 15″
    UK 4 UK 6-8 UK 8-10

Approximate stretchability:
Waist: 2″
Hips: 4″

It means that the below swimwear would fit a range of measurements:

     Measurements of bottom (after stretching)

    XS S M
  Waist 11-13″ 12-14″ 13-15″
  Hips 13-17″ 14-18″ 15-19″
    UK 4 UK 6-8 UK 8-10

If your waist is 12″ and Hips 14″,

Size XS would be the better fit (compared to S) as the swimwear should fit you snugly after stretching.

If your waist is 13″ and Hips 17″,

Both size XS and S would fit you.

It depends on your personal preference –

If you prefer a tighter fit, choose XS. If you prefer a more comfortable fit, go for S.

The reason we use un-stretched (instead of stretched) measurements is because it is the more commonly used type of measurements seen online (e.g apparels). Previously when we used stretched measurements, it caused confusion as customers compared it with the unstretched measurements (apparels) which they are familiar with.

Method 2: Refer to UK size

If you are unsure of your vital stats but you know your approximate UK size, you may use as reference as the swimwear fabric is stretchable and would be able to fit a range of measurements. We try to include different size models during our fitting sessions to help you better select the swimwear size.

Method 3: Refer to model stats

If you are unsure of your UK size, you can measure your body stats with a measuring tape and compare it with our model stats.
