Elli monokini in Faith: – A classic bandeau monokini, crafted in our self-illustrated floral print. Faith. A mint and peach based creation inspired by “A Walk in the Woods- Meditations on Mindfulness with a Bear Named Pooh, by Dr Joseph Parent and Nancy Parent.

“I first started on this book in June 2021- we were at one of our lowest point during covid where travel restrictions were still implemented and sales was at a all time low. I remembered sitting at Starbucks with a cup of Hojicha latte and a slice of my favourite Signature chocolate cake as I started on this book.

The illustrations caught my eye, and I thought how nice it would be if I could weave some faith and mindfulness into something to bring along. I started doodling but couldn’t make any breakthrough. I wanted the illustrations to be created in the right mood, not under stressed conditions. I restarted on this project in Jan 2022 – started with a white palette, modified into a dark green palette (Courage), and pastel hue (Faith) 

Originally designed for International woman’s day, this collection is postponed to launch later due to improvements for the other designs from this catalogue. We didn’t want to rush out the production just so it makes it in time for the special day/month – we wanted to make sure that the fit was as perfect as can be. And of course, Courage and Faith isn’t just only for International woman’s day. They are tiny reminders in life in which we hope can lift all woman up on any day.

Faith : to have complete trust and confidence in someone or something

Sometimes, we need that to stop worrying and have that extra faith in life after we have tried our absolute best.

When we’re are grounded and at ease, we can wander where we please. With our senses as our guide, we can let our thoughts subside. And then while away the hours, in the streams and by the flowers.

– Please allow 20-30% discrepancy in the product color due to lighting and monitor resolution (actual may appear darker/brighter). In such cases, the variance may not be considered as a defect.

Note: Prints placement are non-identical on each piece in order to reduce fabric waste as part of our efforts to be more environmentally sustainable. In this way, each of you would own a swimwear that is uniquely exclusive to you.

Tips to care for your swimwear:

-Firstly, shower in clean water before entering the pool- your swimsuit will absorb less chlorine
-Secondly, avoid excessive lotion or oil on swimwear as exposure may cause decolourisation
-In addition, apply sunscreen before putting on swimwear
-Handwash swimwear in cold water and gently squeeze out water to retain shape
-Finally, lay swimwear to dry in shaded or ventilated areas and avoid direct sunlight as heat may damage its colour.
